NYC 2019
In 2019, I went to NYC twice. Because why not?
First, I went in March with Dawn. A blast was had. We met up with friends from school, ate good food, went to the color factory, took tons of pictures, and visited a very deserted Coney Island. I hit TOTR of course. We stayed in Hamilton Heights in the last of the cheap room-in-an-apartment AIRBNBs (RIP) and had to have the window open even though it was freezing because the radiator was in our room for the whole apartment and we were about to sweat out. I had a day by myself in the city during which I brought my leftover Pisillo’s on the train in a paper towel and felt like a real New Yorker.

Then, I took Erin for a couple days right before Christmas. Baby’s first NYC trip! It was quickkkkkk but we tried our best to pack it in. I tried my hand at street photography and got a little braver. We ate all the things, did the Color Factory and MOIC, Brooklyn Bridge, Chelsea Market, and Starbucks Reserve where they gave us such strong drinks we were a little tipsyyyyyy walking back to the train. The hotel we stayed in was near Times Square and was unfortunately a little large so it took FOREVER to get up and down from the room but it was pretty nice.
